Why does it look like both missiles are intercepted? There are explosions on their trail in the sky

Those missiles did not give a flying fuck about the interceptors lol, they just kept going through lmao.

    3. I hope that Iran striking Israeli refineries doesn’t create an environmental disaster like the Gulf War oil wells.

    4. I’m curious.

Are these Iron Dome launchers being used as a “last-resort” defense against the ballistic missiles?

The missiles look way too slow for David’s Sling/Arrow, which are Israel’s primary method of countering BMs. Either of those missiles should also have more than enough explosive force to destroy ballistic missiles. Is it possible that when the incoming BMs are too low and far away for Arrow or David’s Sling to hit, any nearby Iron Dome launchers are used as a final hail mary defensive measure?

It would explain why these interceptor missiles are so slow and have such little effect on the incoming BM. Iron dome isn’t designed to target BMs- only small, slow rockets like the ones used by Hezbollah.

I remember when Russia was going to run out of dishwasher parts to make missiles

    6. What a time we live in. Scary and yet so stunning to see footage like this.

9 interceptors vs 3 incoming BM. 2 BM hit the ground roughly translating to around 12% interceptor success rate in this scenario.
