Before you go, „Ooo! Ahh!“, keep in mind that the technical full moon occurs at a specific time in UTC (Coordinated Universal Time), but the moon is only close to the horizon in a single time zone.
Also, if you viewed the moon several hours before or after the technical full moon, it would appear the same, because the change in waning or waxing moon is small over that time range – too small to tell the difference.
