Hallo! Ich habe kürzlich eine Kopie der Geburtsurkunde meines Großvaters erworben-er wurde 1925 in der modernen Slowakei geboren.
Ich würde gerne versuchen, herauszufinden, wo er geboren wurde, aber moderne Übersetzungs -Apps funktionieren nicht gut, und der Name der Stadt/Region scheint größtenteils verdeckt zu sein.
Gibt es hier jemanden, der mir helfen kann, herauszufinden, wo er vielleicht geboren wurde? Vielen Dank/ďakujem vám!

Seems to be the Bardejov district (also confirmed by the staple, thats from Košice – a regional capital)
Edit: I found a village called „Sveržov“ in the Bardejov district, which seems to match the document
In the top right it says: Mesto (City), and what looks like Bardiov – which might be a city in the eastern part of Slovakia, now called Bardejov.

Probably Nižný Tvarožec
From what I can see it seems to be a place that begins with „Nizny“, might be Nižný Tvarožec because of the letter that looks like capital T and something that looks like ž at the end of the word. That is just my guess though, I am sure there are people far more skilled than me in this matters.
The cursive is kinda hard to read, but I think is reads that he’s from a village called Sveržov (based on the text on the bottom).
Thank you so much to everyone who helped! Sveržov seems to be the most likely place, I’ll have to do some more research! He died several years ago, but it’s always been a bit of a family mystery where he was born. Hopefully I’ll be able to visit your beautiful country at some point to see it for myself!
