* First of all, the reason Tabriz was hit harder than Mahabad is because Tabriz hosts a lot more important military targets due to its close proximity to Azerbaijan, from which Israel launched drone attacks in the past & ensuring they keep their border with Armenia.
* Both Turkey and Azerbaijan are not going to support separatists as that would only give more legitimacy to both Kurds and Armenians, which especially Turkey fears most.
* Apart from some hardcore nationalists (as yourself), there is no hardcore hatred between the two groups. Yes, Turks and Kurds have been in conflict for the past centrury, but Kurds and Azerbijanis have historically lived in peace and all the people I know from both sides have only expressed gratitude towards the other and pointed out the cultural similarities.
-I don’t think Kurds are going to „expand“ as you say, just as I also don’t believe the Azerbaijanis will. Both people are sick of the regime and just want a peaceful life in which they can express their identity. In addition, borders between the two have already been pretty well defined before by the Sovjets:

I hope this calms you down a bit, and I also hope you can let go of the nationalist desires a bit and become more pragmatic of life; there is no reason to warmonger between the two groups. This is silly. South Azerbaijani are at least 10 times more crowded than Kurds in Iran.
Just a heads up, there is no such a thing as South Azerbaijan, nor will there ever be any partition of Iran, especially not of Azerbaijan, which has been Iranian territory since the dawn of time. So get a grip, move on with your lives. The vast majority of Azeri speaking Iranians are Iranian patriots, and I think that is what irks irredentists like yourself the most. Move on.
