The money that was spent on yesterday’s pathetic parade would have been enough for another 3 years of the New Horizons mission in which it could have flyby another Kuiper belt object. Instead, the probe will be shut down next year. Such a shame.
we need more images like this, space feels so close yet its so far and its sad we will probably never reach this area again.
