finally a headline that’s not downplaying the scale of this today.

Protests against Trump have tripled since 2017 — and it’s only mid-2025. From veterans in DC to 1.5 million at “Hands Off,” people are showing up. Meanwhile, Trump jokes about not being a king while literally deploying troops. This isn’t normal.

I’m thinking of making this date Taco Day. And celebrate by eating tacos. Orange Doritos taco shells.

I saw images from Trump’s parade. Multiple single No Kings protest events across the country dwarfed it. Lmao.

There are millions of us. Millions. 

And the best part is there is barely any people at his big birthday parade. It also helped that it started to rain.

Meanwhile, in Trump’s birthday parade to showcase our superiority and appease Trump, we have a soldier marching carrying a drone in his hand lol

Every single US media outlet is now kneecapped for fear of losing licensing from FCC do I have that right? What a fucking terrifying country the US is becoming. Bless the Guardian for consistently reporting solid headlines and articles.

When will we get millions protesting inside D.C.?

As the resistance to the authoritarian Republican regime continues, also keep making others aware this isn’t just about the presidency. 

The supreme court, Congress, and the presidency have all contributed to democratic decay and the growing corruption of moneys influence against the people. They’re supposed to represent all of us, not the billionaires or corporations. 

We need reform. To turn „No Kings“ into something permanent, we need reform. And so we must demand elected officials pursue reform, and we must vote for reformers. A majority of our current elected officials will not or cannot pursue meaningful reform. That’s why it falls on the people to demand it. 

Top of the reform list must be to reassert the rule of law on the Presidency so that we no longer have an Imperial President with vast, essentially uncontrollable power. And to remove from power the puppets on the Supreme Court that do the bidding of their extremist organizations. The extremist justices empowered the imperial presidency and enabled the corruption of money in OUR democracy int the first place. 

All the below boxes indicating fascism have been checked. Probably need to add a few more that have been checked as well (targeted political assassinations, sending people to concentration camps, corruption of the judicial branch)

13. Disdain for intellectuals and the arts not aligned with the fascist narrative.

14. Rampant cronyism and corruption. Loyalty to the leader is paramount and often more important than competence.

15. Fraudulent elections and creation of a one-party state.

16. Often seeking to expand territory through armed conflict.“

Millions is accurate. Not thousands but millions of people protesting against Trump and *for* America. The USA is a democratic republic. Not a fascist country, no matter how hard Trump tries to remake it into one. 🇺🇸
