Not just bandar Abbas ,in Tehran , Ahwaz, Isfahan,Tabriz ,piranshahr Air defenses activated,seems like Tehran got hit.

idk why everyone is mocking iran for using AAA against israeli drones and such.
Because they saw extensive use in ukraine and in india.
Its a much more cheaper option and quite effective as well.
I Assume their more advanced AA, like the S-300, has been destroyed. Now, they are letting off flak fire.
I’m not expert enough to tell if they’re actually hitting something or just punching holes in the air
Other than causing panic I’m honestly not sold on the benefits of shooting up the sky above your city while being targeted with state of the art weaponry
Seeing just AA guns over these cities is telling : looks like Israel really succeeded in taking out any missile based AA systems like Pantsirs etc. AA with these proximity fuses are not going to be effective with the kind of assets Israel’s usingÂ

Air defense of this sort is oddly calming to listen to. That and artillery.
