Can’t wait. But, RIP John.
His wife died and he chose to spend his time with his kids.
Poor guys wife died and he decided to be there for his young kids instead of being gone more often than not while working.
Family issues. This isn’t a big mystery.
His kids could have been raised as the typical Hollywood kids, hooked on booze and alcohol but he put them first. Great dad.
Space Balls was full of feel good actors. We miss you John Candy.
The return of Rick is the only thing that has me remotely excited for Spaceballs 2. IMO it never needed a sequel, especially now after almost 40 years.
Its a classic that stands on its own and is loved by nearly everyone, I really cant say I have met a person who genuinely disliked Spaceballs.
I just hope for all of my nostalgia’s sake that Mel NAILS this, gets EXACTLY what he wants for what will be his final movie put on the silver screen.
Now we need him to reprise his role as Seymour in a little shop of horrors sequel

I think he decided to hang with his kids when his wife passed away. He’s lucky he had that opportunity.
