It says a lot about the human condition that when we are invested we care more about numbers go up/down than the lives directly affected by bombs falling from the sky.
Not judging, just saying it how it is. And this is why humanity in the long run is fooked unless some chill AI overlord takes over and runs a utopian society for us (0.09% chance of this happening).
