That should be the title.

I’m so incredibly torn on the situation (and pretty much every situation regarding Trump and co.).

On one hand, I want us to defeat him with the law, due process, and the measures in place as they are because that’s how they were built and designed. However, I know that the process itself is slow, full of loopholes, and can summarily be ignored as we can see in many of these cases.

On the other hand, I want to fuck his day up overwhelmingly to the point where no other wannabe dictator will ever consider the possibility of trying these things in these borders…but doing that would play into his hands and show that we had to break our rules to destroy him.

Judge says they can’t hold him, Trump says fuck off. This is what we’ve all come to expect. What’s more, we also expect the judge to do fuck all about it.

The irony in how the GOP and Trump camp cried about Biden taking political prisoners during his term. This is absolutely a case of someone becoming a prisoner for political sense. They’re not interested in the facts of why he needs to be kept in remand. Just the vitriol of „sticking it to the libs“.
