Both of the planes are ru and I think they were doing launches of some sort of short range munitions and the forward plane’s munition had some sort of a malfunction and took it out? At least I can’t see any incoming
Were those ’small‘ rounds that took them out??

Su 25 is a beutyful plane but not in russian service.
The SU used the gun for too long and shot himself down! Haha (/s, but it is funny that the gun will literally tear the plane apart around it)

i dont think this was friendly fire, it doesnt seem like it got hit by anything, i think it was qa badly maintained airframe

At first I thought “there was nothing that shot that down, the wing box just broke”
And then I realized it was friendly fire, and I’m not even sure it still was friendly fire. That might just be an IFB. All of the rockets appear to be past the lead jet and it was already rolling right.
Be a real shame if the pilot died in the wreckage.

I am extremrly sure airframe gave way, not shot down. There is no ground fire, no explosions, the wing just folds as the jet pulls into the hard right.
But glad to see it anyway.
