SS: Overnight on June 13, the Israeli military launched a massive series of air strikes against Iran. The prospects of the campaign halting Iran’s nuclear program over the long-term are unclear. Iran has vowed to retaliate against both Israel and the US.
Unless there’s something I’m missing, this is a great write up of the situation with good context applied.
I do find it frustrating that many are quick to write off Iran as “weak”. A gun, loaded or not, is still a gun, and it should be treated as a threat. Even outside of the nuclear weapons implications, Iran can still succeed at asymmetric warfare and has the means.
