Not the worst Jolly Rancher story I’ve seen on here.
„US producer, Hershey, which owns the brand, has been working with the FSA to remove all Jolly Rancher products from the UK market since 2024 – but some businesses in Britain continue to import their products, the agency added.“
So, if I’m right, these products have a high chance of causing cancer and are deemed ’safe‘ for a US market, just not the British one.
OK, that seems good – maybe they should look into the American candy stores around Oxford street as an obvious choice where these items might be stocked. Might be a good opportunity to also check for signs of human trafficking…
so these have been found to include mineral oils and hydrocarbons..

I knew American food standards were shit but this is insane, actual joke of a nation bruh.
Listen folks. No matter how tasty it looks, just leave that „candy“ on the shelf. It’s not worth the extra bother. Just go in to the shop and launder your money like everyone else.
Food ingredients on American food is just non regulated no where in ingredients mentioned milk . But after that big bold SOME INGREDIENTS CONTAINS MILK . How does that work ?
