Ab welchen Punkt sehen die Amerikaner endlich und erheben sich gegen das, was der Rest der Welt sieht?

      I have sadly come to the realization that the majority of the people who voted for Trump are happy with what is happening. They see it, and they feel good about it.

      Others are already rising up, but in a more careful way than what is needed to stop it.

      Half of the country is pro fascism and most of them have guns.

      Good luck!

    3. Historically, what percentage of (people in country X) saw their nation slide from its ideals into autocracy and either a) supported this or b) did *not* support it but did not want to get involved because it was not directly affecting *them* (yet, i.e. the Martin Niemöller effect)?

      That is „finally seeing“ and „rising up“ are two *distinctly* different things.

    4. Democracy Now reported yesterday that, “A nationwide „No Kings“ movement plans to hold over 1,800 anti-Trump rallies across the United States on June 14, the same day as President Trump’s military parade in Washington, D.C., as he celebrates his 79th birthday.” Americans see what is going on and are doing something about it. Also, you say this as you cite to an American journalist reporting on this. So yes, we see it, are experiencing it ourselves and doing something about it. Thanks for your post though

      What I see is Trump LOSING. He is a known bully and harasser – that accompanies the penalty of living in a country containing millions of brainless cretins, who elected this FELON twice.

      Anyone who believes he is „winning“ has fallen victim to gaslighting.

      He can only safely be in public in military audiences – command-and-control – or he’ll be uncontrollably skewered by protesters.

      But let’s drill down: By what measure is he winning?

      * US Economy?
      * Global Conflicts? Putin threat? Iran Treaty? Gazan genocide? Sudanese genocide?
      * Global „leadership“? (he wins on „global contempt“)
      * US Approval Ratings / Consumer Confidence?
      * Leon / TechBro Oligarchy?
      * Tariffs?
      * Stock Market?
      * Jobs?
      * Emergency Disaster Response?
      * Cost-cutting?
      * Education?
      * Foreign Investment? (I’m not talking $400mill ‚gifts‘ and $RUMP coin)
      * FAA? FCC? CFPB? VA? FEMA? NOAA? DOJ?.. is ANY tax-funded agency functioning FOR US?
      * Military „Leadership“ by TV’s Signal-Chattiest Drunk?

      The 1 and only deed he revels in is inhumane treatment of people subj to US Immigration difficulties (barring those in his inner circle, of course). Even there he’s getting SCORCHED in the courts, ICE thugs have ignited massive civil protests, he stays LOSING penal colony/conflict zone rendition battles, is resorting to ever-more extreme flouting of court orders, is billions over budget, and can hardly even claim to rival Obama/Biden deportation stats!

      Speaking of crimes: we’ll see how that 2024 election fraud investigation works out. Notice how it only regained currency once Elon was on the „outs“ w Trump? No matter, they’ll ALL be on the „outs“ soon enough — more leaks and confessions will be forthcoming

      When they can’t put food on the table anymore. Only when it affects them will they act.

    7. Serenity_Obscura on

      Noone is going to do anything until it directly effects them. This is why were doomed as a species

      Should have happened about 10 years ago but so many wanted to live in denial.

    9. When they can actually see it. You’re not sharing the same reality as folks who are siloed into Fox News and other propagandized news sources.

    10. Apathy and being evil are the problems here.

      Some don’t care

      some are enthusiastic.

      So yeah: USA is definitely f***ed.

    11. No-Beautiful-259 on

      Go to the protests this weekend and stand with your countrymen. Exercise your right to peaceful assembly and free speech. This is how we “rise up” in America.

    12. General strike for a few days would bring this country to its knees fast. All it would take is stopping the trucks from moving on the highways from place to place.

    13. SquarebobSpongepants on

      There’s 4 kinds of people from my perspective:

       1. People who know what’s up and are upset.

      2. People who see it but just don’t care or think it’s over blown.

       3. People who don’t like it but are kind of going along for the ride because surely it won’t affect them.

      4. Your full blown fascist MAGA boys that no matter what happens.

      The biggest bases from what I see are 1 and 4. I’d say it’s about a 40/30 split in terms of population leaving the remaining 30% in the 2 and 3 numbers. I think a lot more of the 3’s will be willing to cast their lot in with the 4’s and the 2’s will be willing to risk their careers with the 1’s. This means that eventually when things come to a head, which it won’t be long, I think America will yield to the fascist take over, especially with the Media firmly willing to go all in with the 4’s.

    14. Gun folk for a century have blabbered on about their right to bear arms to defend themselves from a rogue government.. shit has gone rogue and the rest of the world isn’t seeing the civil war we were promised..

      I dont understand what these shitty click bait articles think is going on? Does the writer not see the protests? Do they not see all the planned no kings rallies for this weekend around the country? Do they think a revolution works on an on:off switch? They write for MSNBC, so clearly they have a big platform, are they doing anything to mobilize a resistance? No? Just calling out other Americans is it, eh?

    17. RobutNotRobot on

      His approvals are going down which I guess is the most we can expect.

      No sanity or reason appear to be able to penetrate into the thick skulls of these red-hatted losers. Not even that they are on the sore end of a long con.

    18. Mike_Pences_Mother on

      Why didn’t Rachel ask the mayor of LA about why her LAPD officers are not being held to account for shooting journalists ON PURPOSE with „less than lethal rounds“. How about people just going about their lives not involved in any protests like the video I saw of that young woman trying to get home yesterday? Yes, The Trump administration is stoking the fires but her officers are also behaving like thugs and need to be reigned in.

    19. I see the rise up happening if he announces no more elections and he is staying in office. Think January 6th was something? Wait until you see thousand of angry people storming the White House to remove him.

    20. MazzIsNoMore on

      After an obviously stolen election. As long as there’s no smoking gun and the appearance of fair elections continues there will be no uprising.

    21. AshingKushner on

      Remember back when the Russian people rose up as one to overthrow the communist regime and free the huge number of political dissidents imprisoned in Siberia…?

      Yeah, neither do I, and my fear is that we’ll slowly be worn down to the point where we resemble the late USSR.

      Edit: no critique of communism (I’m not that smart), just remembering what we saw of the USSR through the 80’s and early 90’s.

    22. The_300_goats on

      The answer to this question is not what you want to hear, but based on historical evidence, the answer is „they do not“. This crept up on you, little by little, following a well-thumbed playbook. By the time they’re actually in power, controlling the narrative, there is fuck all you can do about it. At least not in sufficient numbers to change the outcome

      Things are going to have to get much, much worse before a serious tipping point comes. Still, get out there and prove me wrong. I’d love to see it

    23. I am afraid we are the ones who have to stand up against Americans i have no hope. It is not only Republicans it is a class war now – where are the „sane“ leaders.

      They are „company“ men, all of them, and when shit hits the fan it is the company that is protected.

      Just look at Nancy Pelosi and Tell me there is a „fight“….my ass America is doomed.

    24. Coldsmoke888 on

      I’m overseas and it’s pretty crazy how whenever I turn on the news from various countries, our country looks so foolish and sad.

      I’m embarrassed to even mention where I’m from.

      Oh and yeah, the quality of life in America is not as great as you might think. Travel internationally, and not under the umbrella of the military, and it will open your eyes.

    25. ATLfalcons27 on

      People need to remember that many people are absolutely giddy about what is going down and it’s a promise kept in their eyes

      On top of that I’m also tired of people behind a keyboard acting like they would gladly be dead, shipped off to some other country, locked up in their own country, etc by now if this was happening to them. Most of y’all barely do any physical activity and the most dangerous thing you have ever done is drive a car

    26. No-Intention3402 on

      Americans talk a good game (2nd amendment, free speech, blah blah blah) But the country is full of people just like Donald trump and when action is needed….they usually tuck tail and run

    27. Americans voted for this. There is no surprise at all that he is doing what he promised.

    28. Individual-Engine401 on

      It’s happening right now, finally. This weekend will go down in history. The ‘no kings’ protest/march is already starting
