Respect or no respect, gained or lost, doesn’t matter – Trump knows Rand ‚ll cup his balls lovingly while Rand serves him up, because Rand is all talk and spineless like the rest of the cabal on the right.

      > GOP Sen. Rand Paul is accusing the White House of “immaturity” and engaging in “petty vindictiveness” after he and his family were disinvited from the annual White House picnic long held with members of both parties.

      > said his family – including his nearly six-month-old grandson — had been planning on attending Thursday’s bipartisan picnic on the White House lawn. But Paul said their invitation was abruptly rescinded with no real explanation…

      > “It’s just incredibly petty,” Paul told CNN outside the Capitol on Wednesday evening. “I’m arguing from a true belief and worry that our country is mired in debt and getting worse. And they choose to react by uninviting my grandson to the picnic. I don’t know. I just think it really makes me lose a lot of respect I once had for Donald Trump.”

So let me get this straight. Trump uninviting you to a picnic is what finally crossed the line? Give me a break, you’re just upset that Trump is cutting you out and leaving you high and dry like everyone else who doesn’t compromise whatever values they might have left for the sake of pledging their undying loyalty to him.

You’re dismayed because you know how petty Trump can be, how quickly he can turn on someone and threaten their public image and career by leveraging his grovelling supporters against them. You just didn’t imagine that person would be you.

Welcome to the club of „RINOs“ and „traitors“ who have dared to do as little as question his agenda, or even one of his „big beautiful bills.“ Then there are members of the RINO club like Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger, who were ostracized by the party for doing the unimaginable; joining a committee that investigated Trump for facilitating a seditious riot at the Capitol while conspiring to overturn the results of a fair election.

Loyalty is a one way street with Trump, but you knew that, and you still followed the cult of personality. You made your bed.

That is petty, but I don’t think whining about your picnic invitation like it’s beyond the pale, while the president is deploying the marines against citizens for no reason is a good look.

    4. So uninviting someone (and their grandson) from a White House picnic is more egregious than trying to violently overturn an election ?

I’m sorry, how long has this guy been in Congress? He can’t be that naive.

Just wording it that way makes Rand look awful. Everything else before this? Chill. I can’t come to your party anymore? Upset. The actual definition of selfish.

    7. It’s very on brand for the so-called libertarian that he only loses respect for Trump when it’s something that affects him directly.

      He’s such a fucking prick.

How did he have respect for the guy in the first place? Jesus Christ. Can you imagine *just now* losing respect for Trump for some reason?

    9. He will still vote for every major gop bill lock step like the boot licker hes always been

This is what counts as news? Meanwhile in other unreported news, the regime continues its bid to undermine the rule of law and replace it with loyalty to one man.

    11. May this forever bruise Paul’s ego, so he becomes a forever thorn in trumps side, like McCain did!

    12. Rand was trying to cut costs by using generic mayo in the potato salad. Can you blame Trump? Come on.

I fucking hate Rand Paul and I hate that he’s the only Republican who might torpedo this horror of a bill.

It’s like, „I live in Kentucky and this miserable bastard is our only hope.“

Deporting children in cancer treatment is NBD but I really, *REALLY* wanted to go to that picnic.

    15. This may legitimately be one of the new stupidest things any of our politicians have ever said. It’s up there with Trump saying we needed more airports to win the Revolutionary war.

    16. That’s nice.  A picnic is more important to this guy then people’s lives.  He doesn’t get to picnic with Yogi poor booboo.

So he respected a felony criminal special predator .. until he didn’t get an invite to a picnic.

Rand Paul didn’t just lose respect for Trump. Rand Paul doesn’t actually believe in anything. He is most useful as a weather vane to illustrate which way the righty winds are blowing. And if they’re blowing against Trump, that is only a good thing.

His slow walk trying to distance himself from Trump is absolutely disgusting.

The monster will eat its own as quickly as everyone else. Fuck you Rand you boot licker.

    21. Insurrection fine with Randi, Non invite to a fucking picnic is inexcusable.

    22. Anyone that still has respect for Trump is eating lead for breakfast, lunch and dinner
