    Weit großer Raum entwirft Orbitallebensräume für menschliches Komfort und langfristige Präsenz. Ist dies der Beginn des zivilen Lebens in der Umlaufbahn?


    Wege Space arbeitet an Haven-1, einer Gewerbeflächenstation, die in Zusammenarbeit mit SpaceX entwickelt wurde. Was es auszeichnet, ist der Fokus auf Lebensfähigkeit: Komfort, Benutzerfreundlichkeit und Nachhaltigkeit im Gegensatz zu gerechtem Leistung oder Überleben.

    Es wirft eine wichtige Frage auf: Zeugen wir die ersten Schritte in Richtung routinemäßiger, langfristiger menschliches Leben im Orbit?

      Vast has said their Haven-1 module won’t be “NASA Certified” however Haven-2 will be. What have they done to make sure Haven-1 is still safe to fly?

      I would love to see it but I. I’m pretty sure we will see the same thing as we did on ISS just that it’s now operated by private companies.

      How is it being designed for long term presence if it doesn’t even have its own life support systems and relies on Dragon systems for things like removing CO2? Dragon is not capable of doing that for long or even medium term missions so its mission duration will be very limited by that.

      Would be a great stepping stone towards permanent occupation of space.

      Like they pointed out in the show For All Mankind with their orbiting hotel, space is dangerous. Lots of things can go wrong and quickly.

      Would love to see something like this coupled with a space junk retrieval program. Maybe once autonomous robots are more useful they can be sent up there to harvest the space junk for valuable materials.

      Until they solve the whole problem with long term exposure to solar radiation from LEO damaging DNA and osteoporosis from low gravity, who the fuck would want to be up in space for leisure??

      Are Space Colonies gonna be a thing? Will we have Newtypes? Gundams? Zaku? Mobile suits?
