His music isn’t my style, but I can respect this. He knows that the fans engaging with you and your content is what makes you famous and pays the bills. I still remember when Avril Lavigne was yelling at fans for dressing like her basically calling them posers. Not long after that she basically dropped off the map. Fans like to feel like they have a genuine connection with their favorite artists.
