    1. Absolute legend, a one-of-a-kind genius. *Pet Sounds* is maybe the best album of all time. Rest in peace, Brian! You are loved!

A true living legend. I absolutely loved The Beach Boys Love You (1977). It was basically a Brian Wilson solo album but its experimental work pushed music forward. The synthesizer work was one of the building blocks for the new wave genre that followed afterwards. RIP Brian Wilson.

A true musical genius, and Brian Wilson’s genius lies not just in his technical skill, but in how he married innovation with raw emotional truth. He elevated pop into high art, creating music that still resonates with listeners and musicians alike.

When people say he was an innovator, it’s not an exaggeration. I took a rock ‘n’ roll history class once and it’s incredible what he was able to create at the time with the Beach Boys.

    8. Who’d have thought LSD-crazed dope fiend would live to 82. A musical genius. Time to open a beer and put on Pet Sounds.

The earth will shake. Dude was like no other. Might as well be Paul McCartney

Smile has one of the most fascinating stories behind it. RIP to a real musical titan.

That’s sad. He used to live next to one of my family friends in Colorado, was super nice the time I met him.

Go watch love and mercy. It’ll give you great insight to the life he had, the genius, the troubles, the struggle he had just to exist.

RIP to a great one. He deserves peace. Brian Wilson’s talent was a priceless gift to the world. What happened to him with that awful parasite of a doctor has always broken my heart.

Alexa, play the Barenaked Ladies. RIP to one of the best to ever do it.

RIP. I will listen to his music until the day I die as well. Peace to the man tortured by his mind.

Such sad news. He was a true musical genius. Pet Sounds was ahead of its time. This is a terrible loss for us today.

Saw him live about five years ago and it was one of the greatest concert experiences of my life. Even in his late 70s, he still had a beautiful voice. RIP. Thanks for all the great tunes!

He was an absolute genius who was plagued by years of people who paled in comparison from his father who was jealous of his talent to a psychiatrist who took advantage of his fragility.

Can you imagine being the minds who produced stuff like *Pet Sounds* and having your own father shitting on you telling you and your brothers that you are nothings…..on tape in the studio? Murray was a petulant, egomaniacal, minimally talented dipshit who the brothers should have got together and kicked the shit out of the first time he opened his mouth.

I am glad he got out of the drug haze to see people and fans who really enjoyed his stuff toward the later years.

RIP. Made me think of All Summer Long and the ending of American Graffiti.

The four Wilson brothers are in heaven now: Brian Carl Dennis and Charlie

Just heard over the radio and then they played a bunch of his songs… almost cried. Rest easy, legend

    23. The Beach Boys were/are a legit musical group. I once thought they were kinda goofy and surf cultured.

Boy was I wrong. The Beatles heard pet sounds and delivered the classic Sgt peppers.

God speed Brian Wilson. God only knows what if be without you.

    24. Fuck. Seems like it’s been coming for a while unfortunately. Such a tragically sad life filled with genius musical creations.
