No idea why she was the lead in Argylle, she’s a good director, but a real annoying actor.

    2. > “You can always see it coming while you’re making it,” Howard recently told The Independent about her movie flops. “I’ve never been shocked when something doesn’t work. But I’m just an actor – you’re there to serve a director’s vision. If a movie doesn’t turn out the way that you envisioned, you can barely feel disappointed because it’s not yours. You’re not the person who’s building the thing.”

If that’s the case, then it would be far more entertaining if they’d admit to that while they’re doing promo press for the film.

Every interview she gives out makes her sound so annoying and out of touch and not in a particularly interesting way. She’s not a good enough of an actress or director or interesting enough to have this many profiles written about her. (I know who her dad is)

I don’t know how Hollywood works but if someone at my job basically said „yeah I knew it’d be crap, I just didn’t feel like saying anything,“ I’d be pretty pissed off.

So the ladies making madame web knew it was a disaster before filming wrapped up? I would’ve never wanted my name attached to that film. I would’ve asked to be cut out. I think they got a razzie award for how bad it was too.

I really like Argylle. People put to much on movies now. Seen the John Wick spin off and the story was lacking but people are there to see the action scenes

I’ll defend “Lady in the Water” forever. I think it was beautiful. The music and Paul’s acting. I wasn’t even smoking weed when I first watched it. Underrated. It was a fairytale for adults, was like being a kid again.

Perfect. The film industry should just hire Bryce and her clairvoyant flop detection to risk assess and create iron clad profit moving forward.

Argyle had some of the worst gun and fight scenes I’ve ever seen in an action film.

Don’t even get me started about the knife-skating scene…

My very unpopular opinion is that I looked Argyle. Then again I will not love anything Sam Rockwell is in. He’s an underrated treasure.

I’ll never forgive my job for making it a mandatory fun event to go see this piece of shit in the theatre.

Argyle is amongst the handful of movies I’ve walked out on. I couldn’t justify sitting through it. It was awful.

    14. I liked argylle, it’s a cute fun movie and i don’t really like spy action movies in general. Hearing it’s a flop is sad, why would she say that?

Lmao I hope this is a blow to Matthew Vaughn’s ego when he hears about this interview. Can’t believe he made a total dud like Argylle

    16. People are conflating what’s good with what’s a flop.

I would argue they are mutually exclusive.

      …Except in Argylle’s case.

I watched Lady in the Water at the cheap cheap $2 theatre and still felt robbed.
