cops beat, gas, shoot with less lethals, use horses to stomp on people. fear and intimidation brutalist tactics. but if someone throws a water bottle or jerks their body in an attempt to free themselves from a cop who is beating them with a club and corporate media will tell you that the protesters are violent.
and you expect citizens to respect property after enduring that brutalism? you expect people to remain civil and compliant after cops show their glee for cruelty?

A police riot started by the same guy who started an insurrection on January 6th.
Take any group of people, surround them by police and start firing tear gas at them, it very quickly becomes a riot.
It was completely manufactured by Stephen Miller.
This was a trial run. If they can do it in LA they can do it in any city in the country.
Why do cops do this? There is nothing good that comes out of this. Who is in charge? Who is giving the order or falling to maintain control? Where is the mayor and the chief? Get out there and lead your people. Take command.
It’s an overreaction designed to distract us from trump losing the tariff war, dismantling our military and federal system, supporting a genocide in palestine, allying with russia and N.Korea, and politicizing arrest warrants.
Our democracy is hanging by a thread and it’s being cut by russia and oligarchs.
This all begins with Trump. What a bullshit CA admin weren’t doing its job. He’s been looking for any possible situation to show his “power.”
Calling it a ‚police riot‘ is not just provocative — it’s accurate.
This was just a typical protest turned riot, definitely not an insurrection. Why? Because the people involved didn’t try to break in and occupy a government building to stop an election outcome.

Okay, Trump is making a bad situation worse, but this kind of reporting is about as biased as the reporting MAGAs listen to, just in the other direction. I’ve seen clips of both protester and police violence; they’re acting like it’s one-sided. They also seem not to understand that if protesters are setting things on fire, the police *should* disband the protest because it *has* become a riot? Like, do they just want everyone to „wait until people have calmed down“ if there’s active rioting going on?
