      I’m visiting Asheville right now, downtown was shutdown earlier for a march in the rain against ICE in L.A.

      I got hit twice with rubber bullets, tear gassed, and hit with shrapnel from some sort of firework. Fuck them, fuck ice, fuck trump, I’ll do it all over again. Fuck i feel beat up.

      Protests right across the country would at least send a message that not everybody is on board with the fascist takeover.

      These protests aren’t even protests at their roots they are burning shit down the marines being deployed is justified and people are flying flags of country’s the left and came to America if you want the unbiased support of most of America don’t burn la down while flying flags of different countries

      The protests in LA have been in such a small concentrated area but the overblown media coverage got America thinking that the whole city is on fire.

      I like it, LA gets a reputation as hardcore Trump hating maniacs but sees minimal damage.

      I’m slow on the uptake because it’s just become clear to me that all this force is not for the protests. It’s there to ensure the ICE raids go forward without push back. They don’t want it recorded or the community banding together to protect others. He is literally using the military to ensure these raids ramp up and continue.

      I just don’t understand why I keep seeing so many people with Mexican flags? What is the significance? Shouldn’t they be flying American flags? Or Anti-ICE flags? Something symbolic of their cause? I feel like I am missing something.

      Waiving the flag of Mexico is literally playing into their narrative. Wave the American flag and make the cops/military move against that!
