Trump wants to kill Americans. Trump is a tyrant. Full stop
No Marine should follow these orders. Trump is in violation of the US constitution. We’re about to find out if the military will really uphold their oaths or follow the whims of a mad man.
This is not going to end well. American troops (against the constitution) used against the civilian population.
When we restore our democracy a lot of people need to go to jail and if it doesn’t happen the people in charge need to go to jail for not fufilling their oaths.
This feels like maybe the first domino of an actual civil war. Calling in the Marines on Americans is a really depressing and terrifying moment.

He is also violating the constitution. Northcom has no jurisdiction in california. Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 lays out the rules on this.

It’s continued escalation. Day one they did their ICE operation, got out of there with some scratched cars and a few broken windows. Did they zip out of there and let the area cool down? Nah they brought more LEO to the zone, escalated it with armored vehicles, military style dress, rubber bullets and pepper spray. Did they cool it then? Nah bring in helicopters and national guard. And it will continue ad nauseam. It’s planned.
We are close to war, one massacre away. Trump thinks that the military will lay down the law and the entire citizenry will run away cowering.
Not sure that they’ve calculated such things provoke a violent, organized resistance.

A reminder to those Marines that “just following orders” wasn’t a valid defense for Nazis after the war, and it won’t be a valid defense for you either. Any Marine following these orders is committing high treason and we the people will hold you individually accountable for your choices.
