    1. >“I came onboard to play Christy, and I had about three and a half months of training,” Sweeney told the publication. “I started eating. I weight-trained in the morning for an hour, kickboxed midday for about two hours, and then weight-trained again at night for an hour.”

      >W also noted that the actor gained more than 30 pounds for the role.

      >“My body was completely different,” Sweeney said. “I didn’t fit in any of my clothes. I’m usually a size 23 in jeans, and I was wearing a size 27. My boobs got bigger. And my butt got huge. It was crazy! I was like, Oh my god.” Sweeney laughed. “But it was amazing: I was so strong, like crazy strong.”

And somehow people are gonna find a way to hate on her for this. At least it’s not method acting and abusing castmates or people on set.

    3. Christy Martin looks like every waitress from the 80s and early 90s movie but can crack most dudes‘ teeth out.

The way she got opps out of there…a rare sight.

    4. Something tells me there’s a bit of poetic license in explaining the difference between gaining 30 lb and getting into fighting shape for a role portraying a boxer.

    5. They used to reserve female boxer movies for a Hilary Swank.

This is like hiring a Carmen Elektra.

For the life of me I don’t understand the hype around this actress. I mean she’s pretty but she’s as pretty as every other Hollywood star. Is it the name? Do people just like saying it?

She said her “butt got huge” after going from a size 23 to a 27 😳😭

I have to say ‘My Boobs Got Bigger. And My Butt Got Huge’ has to be the weirdest title for a boxing biopic ever
