      He’ll keep doing this until enough people push back, and then the contemptible pos will use it to impose martial law.

      Using the guard is a warm-up for elections in 2026 and having the feds take over the process from the states. Threats of arresting the governor of California and mayor of one of the country’s largest city is also a warm-up for martial law.

      The threat of US marines on us soil should enrage every American.

      All of this is exactly the opposite of what the Republican Party has stood for, since, ever. They have always said “states rights!”. Now it’s no rights at all.

      Sounds like trump wants a de facto civil war so he can implement martial law and not have another election. I’m sorry america that you guys are losing your democracy and freedom but you guys kinda did elect him not only once but actually twice

      This is what they want. That’s not to knock it happening. What’s going on isn’t an isolated hit on an individual but a full assault on a metropolitan area that is equivalent to the 7th largest state in the country. It specifically targets a population that is overwhelmingly productive. If you don’t understand that, when ICE raids an operating business it not only obviously negatively impacts that business’ operations but targets employees who by virtue of being employees can’t seriously be considered high priority immigrants to target. They are people who contribute to society (at the absolute least they spend money they work to earn) and pay taxes ($96.7b in ’22) despite their citizenship status. Like so much trump does, this plays to his base in the moment but creates a situation that ultimately hurts his cause (even if it works fine for Heritage et al).

      A reminder to all Americans regardless of political affiliation: PLEASE READ THE CONSTITUTION and THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE! Compare the list of reasons in the Declaration of Independence to what the current administration is already doing and/or in the process of attempting to. This is what we originally fought against! EDUCATION of your rights and freedoms this country was built on are being stripped away! This is not just about ICE raids…. Blatant disregard of our founding documents and principles!

      The best thing people could have done was stayed home, it would have made trump look like a fool and a waste of tax payers money mobilizing the national guard for nothing.

      The U.S. military is setup to protect the Constitution….not the agenda of a political party or any leader. Once it is used against the America public, there will be no turning back.
