It is amazing how quickly US spiraled into some sort of quasi authoritarian state. One shot away from total chaos.
It begins with federalizing 2000 troops of California’s National Guard (the number is in a different part than I included)

* **No upper limit**: It doesn’t cap how many active-duty troops can be deployed.
* **No geographic restriction**: It **doesn’t say California,** applies **nationwide**.
* **No duration defined**: While the National Guard portion is limited to 60 days, **this section has no time constraint**.
* **No judicial oversight**: The Secretary of Defense, political appointee, gets to decide **alone** what level of force is “necessary.”
* **Dangerous precedent**: This sets up a legal pretext to insert **active-duty military** into any protest area across the country, *without needing to invoke the Insurrection Act, just* using vague language about “protection.”
they just declared martial law, without having to use the terms. they just used bureaucratic language and vague “protective” justifications to the same end.
Military protective activities sounds like he has ordered the military to treat American civilians as combatants. I don’t think this will go how he thinks it will. Trump is crossing the Rubicon but is too stupid to realize what he has done.

This right here is why I left. We (the American people) knew this was coming for months, we watched as his administration took goose step after goose step towards fascism, and now they’re running full tilt downhill and picking up speed. I wonder if the rest of the world want to speak out before it’s too late? If you’re any type of minority I would be looking for the exits as fast as possible if you can, and if not then to support each other in these dark times.
