Ain’t no fuckin way it’s a “bigger crisis” than Apollo 13 or Apollo 1 for that matter. That almost ended the American space program.
I’m not sure if a title can actually be more misleadingly extremist. Hopefully they don’t get the clicks they’re aiming for.
I’m beginning to think that journalists may sensationalize things to get people to read and may not be trustworthy.
If only we had our own space agency that didn’t have to worry about others.
Hell even other agencies that benefitted citizens paid with tax dollars to avoid petty outside influences
It is certainly not the biggest crisis ever. Not by a long shot. Currently the massive cuts and layoffs are what people here at NASA are terrified of. The Trump-Musk breakup was long predicted by every government employee out there because we have been all been the target of these fools for months now. My coworkers and I had a good laugh about the breakout and maybe some nervous what-if conversations but then went back to working while still wondering and discussing how much of our programs they are really going to gut and what will congress do to stop it if anything.
And we read BBC news why? Since when is their reporting accurate again?
