    1. Starlink satellite connections in the White House bypass controls meant to stop leaks and hacking.

      >Elon Musk’s team at the U.S. DOGE Service and allies in the Trump administration ignored White House communications experts worried about potential security breaches when they installed Musk’s Starlink internet service in the complex this year, three people familiar with the matter told The Washington Post…

    2. I think at least a little under half of voters were well aware of the risks associated with partnering with Musk.

Why would a world wide network that can use space based trunking directly between the United states and Russia have any security concerns?

I mean it’s not like Elon is syphoning our SSN data or anything, and I am sure that 78 year old Trump, who notoriously doesn’t read and hires only off the television, spent countless hours going over security concerns with Elon prior to installing a backdoor into the most important building on the planet right?

How come we all know the risks in advance but then the media catches up weeks later?

Shut down Russia cyber security team and install unsecured Starlink in White House. Go figure.

    6. So, only after that middle school breakup does the WH care about the blatantly obvious security risks? Nice.

    7. You mean the starlink system they wanted to use in air traffic control upgrades? Now it’s a security risk

I’m not a government employee but the moment that Musk cut off Ukranian access to starlink over Crimea, the region of Ukraine territory that was annexed by Russia in 2014, was the moment imo that the US gov’t should have begun investigating the ethics and security concerns surrounding Elon Musk’s company contracts with the US gov’t.

I suspect there had been a number of cases in the works during the Biden administration, and as we know Musk used his DOGE department to infiltrate and dismantle a lot of that work while stealing the private data of US citizens and ingratiating himself with even more contracts for his own companies.

So *now* they care about all the ways Musk is a massive security risk? Lmao

    10. The system that was used in battleground states to transfer vote tabulation? That starlink?
