This is why I hope in the future we spend less time hyper focusing on federal politics as a society and more awareness, education, and time is dedicated to municipal and provincial politics.

Municipal and provincial politics are the primary places for housing policy.

Provincial politics primarily the place of labour policy.

There needs to be a whole lot more spotlight, pressure, and general activism focused there.

Now municipal governments and NIMBY policies are massively hampering density/rezoning and other dimensions that would help on the affordability and accessibility fronts of this horrific housing crisis.

All that being said it is still funny seeing Doug Ford and his administration blaming the municipalities because he has been caught up in scandals from the Greenbelt, diploma mill fiasco of International Student Program, all the way to lying about what a fourplex is lol

I guess a broken clock is still right twice a day as the saying goes.
