      No. We support due process. If Kilmar is found to be guilty of the crime he is charged with. Detain him in jail. See not fucking hard.

Abrego Garcia has been named in an indictment charging him with transporting within the U.S. people not legally in the country. The two-count indictment, sealed by a Tennessee court last month, alleges Abrego Garcia participated in a conspiracy over several years to move people from Texas, deeper into the country, NBC News has learned.

      I hope he gets a good lawyer. The notzees have been going hard on this guy. He had a court order to not be deported, and the government broke the law. But there are plenty of brown shirts to back the fyurer.

      Seems like a Slam dunk case for the ACLU to win. How can the prosecution (DOJ) be trusted to faithfully litigate this matter when they don’t have any respect for the constitutional right to due process.

      I’ve been saying for months that he needed to be brought home to be allowed due process…but now I’m suspicious that it’s not going to be due process as much as it’ll be a kangaroo court.

      I hope the truth comes out…but when dealing with the Trump administration, they view the truth as inconvenient. I’m frankly not confident that Garcia will be getting a fair hearing.

      This is an attempt to bring him back without admitting to a deportation mistake that sets up the federal government for a lawsuit.

      Presumably, this is also an attempt to move him to a different jurisdiction where he does not currently have local legal counsel, thus burdening his attorneys with additional costs for representing him.

      Don’t be surprised if these charges are either dismissed or else pleaded out.

      They were forced to bring him back so they are vilifying him and planning using him as an example to prove they were „right“. Talk about twisting the narrative. Do not fall for this destructive nonsense. The trump administration lies. Do not forget that.

      MAGA incompetence on full display. All they had to do was give Kilmar his day in court, and actually prove with fact that he was guilty of the things they said, and this whole thing could’ve been avoided.

      I would not be surprised if his alleged coconspirators were given special deals to testify against Garcia. This DoJ has no problem lying to get their way.

      Remember when the right was claiming that he didn’t have due process rights based on him being illegal and ’not within the jurisdiction of the US.‘ Now they’re using the US jurisdiction to charge him. So… which one is it? Did they have jurisdiction or not?
