The opening black and white picture showed the musician looking forward as the model rested her head over his shoulder and they entwined hands.
> Other photos showed Iman in her white halter wedding gown with a train holding flowers as she prepared to say “I do,” and Bowie fixing his suit cuffs in a black and white shot in front of a table filled with crosses and candles. Another photo showed the two of them smiling in front of that very same table.
The loss of Bowie, Prince, and Petty, all within months of each other, created a profound hole in our collective creative necessity that I do not believe we have even begun to fill.
