i think once you make a part 4 you’ve already overstayed. might as well make yourself at home with a part 5

Part 4 closes the door really well for John Wick; there isn’t a need for a 5.

It’s the kind of universe where they already laid the groundwork for John Wick to have faked his death, and that wouldn’t feel out of place in a general sense, but that fourth movie raised the stakes to such a high level (apparently 20% of the population of Paris is an assassin, and they have their own radio station) that I can’t see where they would go from there if they want to continue the story. Anything would be anticlimactic.

I would be into another movie where John Wick strictly outsmarted the villain rather than outgunned them. Leaning into the notion that John is getting older and, just like Keanu, would want to reduce the wear and tear on the body a bit.

Imo 4 was not good… the bulletproof suit fights felt more like squirt gun wars

4 was a great ending. Happy for the main series to end there and just do spin-offs from here

Four movies is enough. I thought the fourth one was getting pretty close to jumping the shark.

Honestly I think they should skip Chapter 5 and just make more spin-offs like Ballerina. It’s such a rich universe and the whole assassin world is so crazy, no need to continue John’s story.

Doesn’t need to be made, but I will gladly continue to watch Keanu barely say anything and continue to be a badass. Just like fast and furious, you keep making them, I personally will keep watching them.

A prequel, a younger Wick and his rise.

Oh now you say you are “over stay our welcome” you have a great trilogy but you pulled a George.

What are they gonna do? Kill him off again? If they thought they might make more, they should not have ended the movie that way. I think if they make another one, then they basically have to do what the last Matrix movie did and he stays alive and you just have to imagine he has further adventures or he lives in peace until he dies of old age or something. Killing him again would be redundant.

It’s already lost all of its realism for over the top super hero like effects. So why not bring him back from the dead. Franchise is getting to be Fast and Furious levels

John Wick: Afterlife. There is a hidden world within the hidden world where poltergeist assassins rage against one another, Patrick Swayze reprises his roll from Ghost to find John Wick, legendary legend realizing a long long time ago, Swayze killed his father in Ghost.
