Such a shame. Poor lady chose to end it with some dignity left rather than going hungry and fading away.

There’s no mistake, they cut her off like they cut everyone off. They only say it’s a mistake because she killed herself, just like all the other people that kill themselves.

They never apologise when you get cut off and point out they’re wrong, it’s always your fault and you’re causing them hassle trying to survive. Then you have to jump through months of hoops to get back pay.

It’s been this way for decades.

    3. We need a basic minimum payment that people are never left without if they don’t have accessible cash savings.

Where the fuck are people supposed to go for help with this shit now that the citizens advice bureau has all but disappeared.

Back in the day they would have a) sorted out the benefit stuff, and b) helped her with the debt.

This poor lady, and her children who’ve been left without a mother. What the hell has happened to this country.

Their plan is working exactly as intended. Some of us will die but that’s the price they are willing to pay to turn a few more millionaires into billionaires.

I’m so glad we got the Tories out so Liz Kendall can carry on cutting benefits to disabled people.

Funnily enough, Liz Kendall and her campaign manager, Morgan McSweeney, secured just 4% of the vote in the 2015 leadership election—yet no one seems to hold the Labour membership in such contempt as the party’s right wing, who genuinely believed Kendall and McSweeney belonged right at the top

She failed to attend a medical assessment (by DWP in a job center) because she was actually in hospital with pneumonia and deemed perfectly fit and well in her absence.

And yet they’re still doing it to this day.

„Can you put a pen in your shirt pocket?“ „Can you turn the page of a book?“ Fit for work.

Hitler would be proud. Nazi state.

How can they „mistakenly“… they have decision maker guides (dumbed down welfare law for idiots) they have to follow.

Some accountability is needed here… now their Tory mates aren’t there to shield them thought things might have changed in the DWP and a shred of human decency might have appeared (remote as it might seem).

In some dark mind in marble halls this is what they expect to happen. Thin the numbers.

    10. Okay, so it looks like Labour isn’t going to stop the persecution of disabled people. Well, that’s two parties I now can’t vote for…

Hopefully someday politicians have their day in court on state manslaughter, as they are well aware the system is designed to be antagonistic to cut costs. It’s also a simple example of how weak your rights and the courts are, even when the DWP has done this a thousand more times they still keep getting away with it.
