Average salary is a bullshit indicator in itself, only thing it can be useful for is to see the level of inequality when you compare it to median salary, but nobody posts this indicator. I don’t have latest data but, in 2023 median salary was 1238gel, so 50% of population had salary less than this. At the same time the average salary for the same period was 1766.8. which indicates wealth inequality. To see an actual situation you need to have a normal distribution chart for each percentile of population, than we would know wtf is going on, how we all become poorer but somehow the economy is growing. No one in this shit government will share that data.

If the manager gets 10 000 and 9 employes get 1000 each, the average salary is 1900, but 9 out of 10 people get much less than that.
There’s a reason why they stopped publishing median earnings and only kept the average.
