SS: UN Secretary General has demanded the immediate and unconditional release of over 60 humanitarian workers, including 13 UN staff, who were arbitrarily detained by Yemen’s Houthi rebels since June 2024.

The Houthis, accused of using espionage claims as a pretext, continue to deny detainees contact with families or access to legal processes.

The detentions have severely hindered aid operations in a country already facing one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises.

Conditions in detention are reportedly inhumane, with disease outbreaks and mistreatment, particularly of women.

Can the head of the UN be charged with war crimes for stopping aid programmes after their people were kidnapped?

    4. Strange given that the UN is pro Hamas or some UN officers are also Hamas members.

    5. It’s a shame that the Western democracies became so gullible and don’t want to protect the rule-based world order anymore.
