I want more Norwegian film suggestions! 🎦 🎦 🎦

Just watch the others in the same „series“:
[The Quake / Skjelvet (2018)](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6523720/) (about an earthquake hitting Oslo)
[The Tunnel / Tunnelen (2019)](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9049042/) (how to spend christmas in a tunnel)
[The Burning Sea / Nordsjøen (2021)](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt12753120/) (fireworks at the oil platform)
(edit: personally „skjelvet“ is the worst, no loss if you skip that one)
Naboer (Neighbors). Fantastic thriller
Hodejegerne
[Troll Hunter/Trolljegeren (2010)](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1740707/)
[Olsenbanden/Olsen Gang](https://www.imdb.com/list/ls566702154/), there is 22 of them in total if you only count the Norwegian ones, Sweden and Denmark also has theirs which are different movies
[The Pinchcliffe Grand Prix/Flåklypa Grand Prix (1975)](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0073000/), it is a car movie that you really do not need to know about cars/care about cars to enjoy, it is beloved over here and watched once a year around Christmas time by most of the country at the same time.
Beforeigners seems timely…
Krigsseileren/War Sailor
I onde dager/The Trip is on Netflix and is hilarious. Død snø/ Dead Snow is another. They’re both directed by Tommy Wirkola
Den tolvte mann,max manus,nr 24,all movies from ww2.
Død snø
Max Manus
Kongen av Bastøy (very sad movie)
Several people on here are recommending war, horror, action ect. How about some great dramas? We do actually do other things besides WWII and natural disaster movies.
[ELLING](https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0279064/)
[Mannen som elsket Yngve](https://m.imdb.com/title/tt1114723/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0_tt_8_nm_0_in_0_q_mannen%2520som)
[Oslo 21. August](https://m.imdb.com/title/tt1736633/)
Or something a bit more quirky, like maybe:
[Syk Pike](https://m.imdb.com/title/tt18816518/?ref_=nm_flmg_job_1_cdt_t_9)
Lasse og Geir
Døden på Oslo S
Headhunters(2011)
Børning 1,2,3(Asphalt burning)
Joachim von Triers films are good
– Reprise
– Oslo 31. August
– The worst person in the world
„Det vil skje igjen.“
Klarer ikke lese det uten å tenke på Dirty Mike and the boys.
Den brysomme mannen.
There’s Something in the Barn is silly & fun
Many were already mentioned, but i also loved Kraftidioten (2014)
Svidd n*ger
There’s the Stavanger wave of films, from the early 2000s, I haven’t seen any of them in a few years, but i really loved them when they were released. Start with Mongoland
Den brysomme mannen
Ut og stjæle hester (2019) if you want to see a naked Tobias Santelmann picking stinging nestles.
Ninjababy (2021)
Syk Pike (2022)
The Oslo-trilogy by Trier, that someone else mentioned, is also great!
Kon-Tiki is my favorite Norwegian movie ever. Judging by the lack of mentions here, I’d say it’s also severely underrated.
Watch mini series «halvbroren»
En mann ved navn Ove (2015) (they made an american version „A man called Otto“ but i think the norwegian original is much better)
Uno (2004)
Keeper’n til Liverpool (2010)
Lange flate ballær (2006)
Villmark (2003)
United (2003)
«Kongens nei»
As an American, who also enjoys Norwegian shows, may i suggest Trolljegeren from 2010. An independent (imho, comedic) horror film and Netflix show Norsemen(english)/Vikingane (norse)
Kill buljo 1 / 2
Kraftidioten from 2014. Its kinda like a Norwegian Tarantino film in which Stellan Skarsgård plays a snow plower on a revenge mission. One of my favorite movies, its so good
You could also try Troll from 2022. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troll_(2022_film)
And, of course you have the Oscar nominated The Worst Person in the World. Same director for the newly released Affeksjonsverdi (not been able to watch it yet,). It received a good receipt in Canne https://www.festival-cannes.com/en/f/affeksjonsverdi/
