Yeah, words have lost all meaning to the Conservatives. Yes, sure, Trump and Trudeau are both communists because they implemented COVID mandates.
Well, I’d sure prefer that to RFKism. We’d end up with brain worms. Makes you wonder how some people got their MD’s.
Communism is a political, economic, and social ideology that advocates for a society where the state owns and controls the means of production, distribution, and exchange, with the aim of creating a classless, stateless, and moneyless society. It envisions a system where resources are allocated based on need and everyone shares in the benefits of labor equally.

This is one of the ridings where, if the NDP topples the government by voting against the Throne Speech, no more Liberal-NDP vote split would send this riding back to the Liberals. This quack should not be anywhere near vulnerable populations.
Strauss was defiant in his opposition to Covid mandates long before it was treatable, curable, long before vaccines.
As a doctor his behaviour was unprofessional and reckless to the point where colleagues and students alike were disturbed by his behaviour.
Queens University and his Dean Archer “say no one defamed Strauss. It says his resignation was timed to make as much money and sow as much chaos as possible.
It also says his disagreement with public health measures wasn’t just seen online, but at work where he tried to bypass COVID-19 screening at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre.
When the pandemic started in 2020, Archer and Strauss disagreed about scientific literature on COVID-19 and public health measures, but Archer remained professional.
The defence points to Strauss’s social media posts about COVID-19 that include him saying:
– „I would sooner give my children Covid-19 than a McDonald’s happy meal.“
– „Just listening to science is naïve – what to do about Covid depends on values more than facts.“
– „If you drive your kids to school and worry about them getting COVID there then you are bad at math.“
The defence states Strauss‘ peers said his comments were undermining the work done to save people’s lives while medical learners called his comments „offensive and discriminatory.“
He also tried to bypass screening at the hospital, the statement of defence says.
„These behaviours occurred at a time when COVID-19 was incurable and vaccines were not yet available,“ reads the court document.
Despite several meetings with Strauss that weren’t punitive but had people discuss their concerns, his „harmful commentary“ continued and he didn’t make clear that his posts were his opinion and not that of his employer.”

Funny, I always thought Communism had something to do with the workers controlling the means of production, but I guess I have to accept that it has nothing to do with economics, or even Karl Marx.

I’m personally surprised it took this long for the crazies in the Conservative party to start letting their crazy out. Guess they held on as long as they could for the election and are trying REALLY hard not to drop the crazy ball before PP wins his by-election.
