This war has really advanced weapons technology. If you’d have told me in 2020 that by 2025 wars are being fought with drones and lasers I don’t think I’d have believed you.

These drones look similar to the ones used by Pakistan against India recently. Are they Turkish too?
I wonder how long they had to focus on that wing. If they’d shown the entire engagement from start to finish I would be more impressed.
Insanely cool, I can see two emmeditely issues with this though – First is it’s pretty slow, seems like for now this system can only intercept slow moving drones, I guess a more advanced laser is being developed for missile interception. The other issuing being that unlike a rocket, these done explode the drone, so would the disabled drone just kinda spiral and likely hit something in Israel? I assume this isn’t intercepting over Lebanon is it?

That it is able to track a vehicle spiraling from loss of control and keep the target at the center of the image is amazing. Can see the red reticle tracking the main fuselage as it falls and the resulting laser burn on the fuselage. The visual system (x) and the laser tracking systems (+) are both very good.
This will significantly reduce cost when dealing with a drones,
What would an ablative coating do when hit with a laser?
Always wondered if they just like wrapped it in reflective chrome coating wouldn’t the lasers just reflect off? 🤔
