Hes shaking everything up and I love that he just dosnt play optics, laser focused on fast results . If Carney pulls the voters support the partys will follow his direction
I highly doubt it. The OLP membership are the same people who elected Del Duca as leader, they can’t be trusted to make the right choice and oust Crombie.
And even then, I’m not sure NES is the right person to save the OLP. He might be able to win back some NDP voters in downtown Toronto, but that doesn’t bring them any closer to winning government. They need someone who can win over the 905.
I think with NES you realize there’s a fine line between cool, edgy, smart older cousin and stereotypical entitled crybaby millennial and unfortunately NES crossed it.
I’m skeptical NES can make it back but I do sympathize considerably given he was on his way out of federal politics and I’m sure was offered something more significant than 6 months in cabinet, mostly as a caretaker.
