    1. Will it protect us from the most serious threat of attack on Canada?

Mainly threats of annexation from the USA?

If not, its not worth the money.

Donald Trump says tariffs aren’t taxes , so what are we even talking about .

We voted in a leader to deal with it , let him deal with it , why are we so desperate to have daily updates about   public sensitive discussions  about  tactics with a opponent.

God help us if we ever go to war , the Canadian public would want to have daily public debates from our leaders on what are next more will be 😄 🤣 😂

We’d be fools to believe that the actual price or capabilities are being accurately described.

Trump’s whitehouse describes the total cost as being 175 billion. The Congressional Budget Office estimates the cost at about 850 billion.

We do need better defenses which are suitable for a changing world where the US has turned from ally to adversary. Golden Dome doesn’t serve that purpose.

Aaaaand we’re back. And our military needs too many things to waste $61 billion on this.

      > The plan has been condemned by China and raised concerns about the possibility of igniting a space-based arms race with China, Russia and other countries that have or are developing military space capabilities.

Also, if this involves weapons in space then it should be a non-starter regardless. I’m a little unclear if it calls for weapons in space or just spy satellites.

    5. It’d be 61 billion funnelled to select US defence companies that trump is in cahoots with similar to the wall he got built. I really hope we can just placate him for four years.

I suspect Carney is indicating our willingness to sign on just to appease Trump for a few years until he’s gone. There is no other way to explain it, in my opinion.
