if you can’t beat it, atleast profit off of it
if they want to do the same with harder drugs, run some sort of program similar to some european countries as a harm reduction program
sell taxed up needles to addicts and provide a safe place for them to be inebriated at, it’s time to start rehabilitating people the american way

As long as it’s federally illegal, and getting a CDL requires clean urine, isn’t any state level fake legalization just a vote for more expensive everything?
Not blanket anti marijuana, just asking an honest question given trucking is how most of our nation’s good move, and their being zero progress on federal reclassification of marijuana.

Marijuana is legal in my state too. unfortunately, Oregon likes to waste money so spend it frivolous instead of returning it to taxpayers

A state needs to follow Alaska’s lead and do a statewide UBI using Marijuana revenue and land value taxes and other Pigovian taxes. And tap into AI revenue too in some way.

It’s tough having to smoke to deal with life, get over taxed on it, and deal with jobs. While I think the program is one thing, why the pot heads pay it?

According to the article this is being given to 80 families in 2 districts. Definitely dope but not the UBI the title implies
