We gotta get these younger adult Americans into positions of power, they’re smarter and infinitely less corrupt than those that hold power now.
It’s really, really easy to see heart in people when they’re trying to show it. These people are passionate and they’re ready to fight dirty back. Crockett is absolutely correct, she can provide and we need that type of leadership.
I think we need to take a page from Republicans’ book and start looking at candidates that don’t necessarily know every law in and out, but candidates that instead correctly represent who we are and what we want.
That’s what Trump is, he’s not smart nor does he know the law, but he does do a fantastic job of representing what his base wants. People like Crockett do that while also being smart and knowing the law.
America isn’t centrist. We are a divided nation, we just need to accept that half of us are just gonna be pissy about basic human rights and not give them the room they want to start taking those away because of their own hate and bias. They are wrong, and we need someone in the driver seat who isn’t afraid to say that.

I wish her the best. I really do. This seems a bit of overreach at this particular time though. I would LOVE to see her move into leadership positions. I think she might need to wait a couple more cycles though. That said, if she can pull it off now then great! I really like her.
This just has more of a feel of a powergrab and I want this new crop of younger politicians to be better and not just more of the same dickheads we already have (see: Fetterman).
She’ll run, and it’ll go to 70 year old Stephen Lynch, Connolly’s handpicked replacement. Let’s be clear, the Crocketts and AOCs are the leaders we need, but we’ll get do-nothing centrists instead.

All that old crap needs to be booted. Most of them have been there since I was a little girl and I’m 70. They’re the reason we are where we are. Our young folks are the ones that have to live with and fix the damage that has been done to this country. Bernie is about the only old codger that deserves to still be there.
