I wouldn’t have cared what democrats promised or did if they won, no matter how compromised they are a win would have dramatically improved outcomes for all decent Americans. I don’t understand though how the president and vice president can be too incompetent in this day and age to use data analysis to chart a winning course. I’ll still give them my vote and try to speak positively about them around elections, but from where I’m sitting it’s a uniparty that wanted billionaires openly in charge this term.
While America crumbles she’s off doing speaking engagement for Australian realtors.

Trump won a second term by taking on the role of a renegade populist. It may have been nothing more than a ploy to stay out of prison, but that’s the way millions of aggrieved Americans see him. He is their hero. When his opposition rightfully identifies him as a threat to democracy, a con man, a corrupt dictator… then disappears as soon as they lose an election, their most earnest attacks hit like Nerf darts. We need fucking fighters, not memo filing, statement making, pencil pushing politicians. Let all those people continue doing their quiet bureaucratic work behind the scenes, the people need a gladiator in the ring, so to speak.

…you’re telling Americans to remember the 1930s? Are you serious? Last time I checked, the average american has a middle-school tier reading level; with communication skills to boot. And yet, you’re assuming they’re astute enough to brush up on their early 20th century history so that they may be more informed on their next vote?
