I am still astounded that people are so naive to think Trump is A) Going to leave without a fight or B) Not just rig the election, Midterms or otherwise.
He barely fucking left the first time, you think this guy is going to just tip his hat and hit the road in three years?
Exactly, I hate this cope these politicians do to save their own back that all our problems started with trumps tariffs and once they’re gone everything will be ok. Canada has been in decline since the 1980s, which was caused by the first free trade deal signed by Mulroney and decades before of neo-liberal economics from other governments. Politicians don’t want to admit this so they scape goat the tariffs instead of having to deal with the issues they caused.
Conservatives just aren’t taking this seriously. The tarrifs and his economic warfare on Canada will hit the Canadian economy hard. Ignoring the effects of this will do the Canadian people no favors.
This is beyond Trump. Even when he’s gone take a look at Vance and the current Republican Party.
No real improvement there.
And they’re busy ensuring Democrats never win an election again so don’t count on them brining sanity back.
