    1. Despite the headline this article may contain opinions you disagree with. But I want to highlight this paragraph.

      >But when something arose that actually DID speak to Trump’s criminality — hiding classified documents in a pool locker and having his lawyers lie and say those documents didn’t exist — Garland appropriately appointed special counsel. Should the DOJ done more to fast track that case? Yes. Should it have moved forward to mandamus Judge Aileen Cannon while she auditioned for a future Republican promotion by playing constitutional law Mad Libs? Definitely… especially since the Eleventh Circuit had already expressed its opinion that Cannon was a clown.

That’s the part I had most interest in, I really thought they’d do something about Clown Shoes Aileen Cannon and yet???

Caught between a rock and a hard place. Cross the rubicon and prosecute a former President only to have it shot down by an owned and corrupt SCOTUS, or refuse to and keep the precedent intact. Tough choice, even though the rule of law no longer applies anyway. Hindsight is 20/20

The Bottom line is the country is infested with MA GA ts. If we are stupid enough to let the Orange More on run and then assume office, we deserve what we get.

Honestly, I wonder if Biden had pardoned Trump if Trump would have gained back his popularity as he did, given his return was entirely fueled by his false claims of being politically persecuted.

    5. He was such a pathetic AG. He is absolutely complicit in our fall into fascism.

This man is the reason we are in this mess. Fuck you Merrick. I hope you never sleep.

It took him 2 years before he assigned a special prosecutor for Trump crimes. Biden was even pissed off at him

I wish I could do the absolute worst job imaginable at a highly visible job at a national level and still manage to land a job after.

      I HATE this MF.
He needs to be thrown in a cell for aiding and abetting the Donald.

    10. He is a flaccid earthworm on hot pavement cooking in the sun. Pathetic, useless, American traitor. If I thought it was just the payoff, I would hate him in the way that I hate all people who sell their soul for money. He is lower somehow. His job requires a spine, ethics, and morality, but he is just a puff of apathetic air wearing a human suit. Fuck. This. Guy.

    11. I still can’t wrap my head around the scale of the damage this man did by utterly failing to do his most basic duty!

He had *four full goddamn years* to prosecute a crime—an attempted coup!—that took place on live television, and failed. Other countries in similar circumstances have jailed their offending leader the same night!

If America slides into autocracy, Merrick Garland will be the *single person most responsible*.

I don’t know why anyone is surprised by anything Jared Kushner’s father’s BFF has done for the last 10 years.
