As an arsonist, I’m insulted by this article title.

This is more like letting a half starved, rabies infested dog loose in a gym full of kids with porkchops tied around their necks.

It’s a horrific decision. The Supreme Court has overturned a hundred years of history where the vast majority of government employees are non political and cannot be fired for their political beliefs. With this decision, Trump can fire anyone for not being MAGA enough and Congress can pass no law to stop him. He can now fire half of the federal governments 2 million employees which are the ones who are registered democrats.

He will wreck destruction across the next four years and hopefully he is replaced with a Democrat in 4 years but then at that time the incoming president is stuck in the position where they will need to fire every single federal employee and start from scratch. America is weaker now in losing all our good federal employees and having any type of continuity

Just yet another horrible, terrible, un American decision by this court

    3. Is there a weird human urge to fucking destroy ourselves that is like a lemming off the cliff legend?

      I mean, what the hell?

At this point, I can only assume that the Americans who have enough power and influence to know what the score is are shrugging and saying ‘why not?’ To absolute destruction.

Or do people in the top echelons of power not know any fucking more that the most disenfranchised?

Why are we doing this? Why are we jumping headfirst into fascism so fast? It benefits no one but the person on top. Like, no one is safe. Why is it worth it?

    6. another junk article. why do these articles obscure that this was a temporary stay

They allow Trump to rewrite our entire form of govt yet Biden couldn’t even forgive the student loans using a law passed by Congress. We are a joke of a society for allowing this.

    8. SCOTUS has been hijacked by facist criminals that are shitting on the constitution

The majority of White people who have voted: ‚We did that. Deal with the circus for 3+ years. Thanks for staying home and making excuses for not voting for the mixed-race candidate with the funny laugh.‘

*Of those who voted, 60% of wt males/ 53% of Wt females voted for Trump.*

Let me offer this chilling observation: no political party in their right mind would give the executive branch this much power if they had any intention of ever handing that power over to the opposition.

This is so weird to observe as a western foreigner. All I can do is point in horror and say “This is really happening” and wonder why people in positions to do so aren’t doing ACTIVE things on a daily basis to stop it. It’s horribly sad.

I think the biggest takeaway from the Trump administration is that the Constitution is severely flawed in that in order for it to function properly and as intended, the assumption of a non-corrupt president holding office must be made.

I blame Mitch McConnell. He let all this happen over a decade and when it got out of hand, he bailed and cried about it.
