With respect to US senators, their opinions and ideas mean absolutely nothing. The US government is controlled by Trump, and is syncopants, which include the US Senate, basically just rubber stamp whatever he wants. Even if it is stream of conscious garbage or flip-flops. So basically, this means exactly nothing
Silly senators, the tariffs are trumps way of balancing out the deficit that his “big beautiful Bill” created. You know, from the massive tax cut to billionaires. Now if only imposing taxes was in the hands of Congress…oh wait it is. You want to end the tariff war all senators need to do is…well their job!
