      I hope someone else picks it up. Amazon was absolutely terrible with marketing.

      It wasn’t perfect by any means but this was the best we were ever going to get so it’s sad to see.

      It’s always fascinating to see people say a show had one of the best episodes in television in recent memory, followed by the show getting cancelled. The suits don’t actually watch television. Breaking bad would be cancelled in the 1st season if it was made today

      That is really upsetting, but it at least gives me a reason to read the books. It’s a shame they left it on a “the bad guys won” note.

      I really enjoyed this version, sad to leave all the characters at this point in the story.

      Bummer, I watched them all recently with my wife and it inspired me go back and finish the books.

      Ironically everyone was saying how S3 was finally becoming a better show. And then they cancel it. Lol

      This doesn’t surprise me. The show is just absolutely terrible. I don’t think the writers had any vision for the adaptation. There’s certainly no sense of the „epic“ about it at all.

      Beyond the writing, I think casting was really a problem. None of the younger actors playing the main group characters were at all compelling. I think the acting for some of the peripheral characters was great though. The Lanfear actress, for example, I found very watchable, and the Thom Merrilin actor from season 1 was really excellent as well. But the core group of actors for the Emmonds Field crew were all extremely boring to watch. There was just nothing there, no spark at all.

      Season 1, stupid young adults doing stupid things and somehow manage to live. Never did finish season 1.

      It did get better each season unlike Rings of Power which I could no longer watch early into season 2.

      didn’t try to stay true to the books. deserved cancellation. it was alright but deserved so much better. a forever dissapointment
