Also habe ich diese Samsonite EU -Adapter schon eine Weile und sie wurden jedes Mal verwendet, wenn ich im Urlaub war. Letzten Monat habe ich Griechenland besucht und konnte es nicht dazu bringen, für mein Leben zu arbeiten. Ich stecke den britischen Stecker ein, aber der Top -Stift trifft einen Metallpol in der Wandsteck und kann sie nicht vollständig hineinschieben. Ich dachte, es war vielleicht das beschissene griechische Hotel, aber mein Hotel in Deutschland scheint jetzt das gleiche zu sein? Ich habe diese Adapter zu 100% zuvor ohne Probleme verwendet, aber jetzt können sie nicht funktionieren?
Bin ich dumm oder sind sie veraltet oder so?
Bilder zeigen den Adapter, den Stecker im Adapter, wie weit ich beide in die Wand gelangen kann, bevor ich den Metal -Stecker oben (oder unten) traf, der auf den Großbritannien -Top -Stecker trifft, was bedeutet, dass er nicht weiter gehen kann

looks like a terrible design, the uk ground plug is protruding into the schuko ground connection area which makes the fit (almost) inpossible.
it’s trying to be small, if it doesn’t work for you, that’s the reason, it’s trying to get something very tight to fit
I don’t think it’s deep enough for your plug to make contact with the adaptor. the metal thingies in EU is ground and they have some freedom to bend away.
Seem to be that you bought crap unfortunatly. My understanding is, that due to the design of the UK plug (which is one of the most challanging to adapt from), the quadratic section of your adapter would have to be significantly thicker. My guess is that the one your got is only ment for plugs where the ground contact is somehow smaller then usual or retractable.
Personally I’ve encounered a lot of useless adapters allready unfortunatly.
Seeing that the UK ground is just plastic (and therefore without function in this adapter): can you remove it?
Can you plug the U.K. one into the adaptor first, then the adaptor into the wall?

The springs are maybe too down – maybe another wall socket or power strip works better, or turn the adaptor upside down to use the other spring

Seriously, the grounding will not fit into the European sockets. It may also damage the socket, because it looks thicker and wider as the grounding connector.
