      **TLDR:**

      * **Keke Palmer has been acting since she was 10, but told BI she didn’t feel adequately paid until 2022.**
      * **She said that she doesn’t compare herself to others in Hollywood because she feels she’s not on an even playing field.**
      * **Palmer said that’s why she’s diversified her income sources.**

Would someone please tell me the name of the movie for which she felt adequately paid?

Bro why did you do a job when you knew the pay beforehand and weren’t satisfied with it? Fucking hate these celebrities that think the world owes them more

    4. I hope one day my biggest problem is that I’m not a millionaire enough.

So for those who is looking at what she says as a negative. If you read the article, she was asked this question by the interviewer.

I’d be interested to know more about what she thought she should get paid and what her coworkers got paid.

This isn’t a criticism of her, and certain groups absolutely get paid less in the industry, but the vast majority of her resume is supporting voice acting, shorts/music videos, and one-offs on TV shows.

She really wasn’t a regular on live-action TV until Scream Queens and Berlin Station and I think Nope was her first big movie. So it makes sense that Nope would have been her first big paycheck. It probably had the largest budget of anything else she’s done to afford a bigger paycheck.

Celebrities make me laugh. These people are so completely disconnected from reality that they have the audacity to complain about the insufficiency of their multi-million dollar salaries. They would immediately crumble under the financial stresses of an average American.

These comments are so weird and dismissive. It’s fair for black actors to point out that they’re not getting paid the same as their white peers.

I feel so sorry for someone who only earned their first million dollars at 12.

I don’t feel adequately paid either and I’m in my second decade of my career. Something tells me her inadequate pay still bests my inadequate pay 18-19x over.

    11. Bitch it takes me a year to make what you make in an afternoon. Hire better PR and be happy you’re not part of the working class.

But like wasn’t she and Miranda Cosgrove the top paid child actors in the early 2010s? I mean I get it but she’s not by any means struggling.

I wish people would stop hating on her comments. Acting is a job. Well compensated but still a job.

If you’re doing the same shit for a longer time than your co workers and getting paid less its a fucking issue. Whether you’re making $60k a year or $400k a year, find your worth
