Libs didn’t ‘win,’ the Constitution won by holding the line between church and state, for now at least.
Somebody probably told her if you use taxpayer funds for Christian schools, you’ll have to do all the other religions too.

Libs a win? You mean upholding teh 1st amendment and understanding you have a conflict of interest?
If upholding the Constitution is being a liberal than we know how to completely define republicans.
What is this libs win bullshit? I’m more conservative than most and this was a great decision for the Constitution. Parents always have the option to send their kids to a religious private school but it shouldn’t be funded by taxpayers.

Coney-Barrett’s decision was to not be plainly corrupt as humanly possible for one fucking day, by staying home. On the GOP bravery scale she has yet to register even one Mike Pence – and Mike Pence was the world’s most obsequious quisling, right up to the day he was finally ordered to do something that might have gotten him prosecuted.

She actually recused herself which her republican peers have refused to do as I remember. She gets points for that imo. I hope she continues to behave ethically because we desperately need her vote.
Framing it as a win for liberals as though both sides are twisting the constitution in equal measure to fit their respective interests is part of why we are in this mess.

There is separation of church and state in this country. This is a win for American principles. And a loss for traitors.
some organization should try to make a state sponsored islamic school and make that go through the courts so that the supreme court has to rule that religious schools are not constitutional (because they of course wouldn’t want an islamic state supported school)…problem fixed.

Her being the deciding factor in this and other cases is surprising. Recusing herself from a religion driven case is properly ethical. Perhaps Clearance Thomas pissed her off with all the porn.

She didn’t give Libs a win. She has principles and a code of ethics so she recused herself. It’s a shame that more people don’t do the same. She has gained my respect and gives me hope that other judges and politicians may follow her example.
